In our daily lives we encounter medical problems that involve halachic issues, some which require immediate attention. Before a decision can be made and treatment started, reliable guidance from a qualified source is needed. The Dr. Falk Schlesinger Institute was founded to provide practical answers to the variety of medical, ethical, and halachic issues that can and do arise.

The Dr. Falk Schlesinger Institute is a non-profit organization focusing on research and teaching in the field of Medicine and Jewish Law. Through its Publications, Education Programs and Information Center the Institute aims to acquaint professionals and the public with the important interaction between Medicine, Ethics and Jewish Law.

To achieve this goal the Institute depends on funding from the Israeli government, private foundations and gifts. Since Israel is experiencing one of its worst recessions since the foundation of the State, the Israeli government can spend less and less money to support important causes of this kind. The continuation of our activities will now more than ever depend on the generosity of your private funds and donations.
