I am an australian who has recently made aliya, currently living in raanana, and about to start my stag probably in ichilov or tel hashomer hospital.

I have no doubt that I will be assigned toranuyot for shabbat. Can I drive to the hospital on shabbat? Can I srive back from the hospital on shabbat? Every second weekend for shabbat we travel to my wife's family in gush katif – if we are to be in gush katif for a shabbat, can I drive to gush katif from the hospital after I finish my shift (on shabbat)? this would mean that my wife will not be spending shabbat alone, but on the other hand it is further for me to drive on shabbat
