Are there male-contraceptives pills or treatment that is premitted Halachically in a case where a Posek gave the wife a Heter to use (female) contraceptive pills. The reason for using male contraceptives instead of the woman is that the wife is afraid of using pharmaceuticals in general and hormones in particular even though her gynecologist approved the contraceptives and sees no valid medical reason not to use them. The husband has no problem using male-contraceptives as long as they are approved by Halacha and a Medical Doctor.
As far as I know, up to date, there is no effective male-contraceptive that is approved by Halacha
