מטרת הבדיקה א. לקבוע האם יש אלמנט נוסף במצבו של בני .
ב. לשלול בעתיד את הסיכון ללדת עוד ילד עם בעיה מסוג זה.
רופאי הדסה קובעים חד משמעית שיש לבצע את הבדיקה אבל אני שואל האם יש לזה הסכמה הילכתית בתודה.
מותר לבצע את הבדיקה הגנטית, וכן כדאי לקבל יעוץ גנטי מקצועי.
