Dear Rabbi Mordechai Halperin, M.D.,

I am a fourth year medical student in Tel Aviv, and I am a huge fan of your work at the Schlesinger Center. I would like to participate in some of the work you are doing, perhaps toward a Ph.D. in Medical Ethics. Might you be able to help direct me in this pursuit?

I am now in Toronto, doing a clinical elective in Internal Medicine, and I plan on returning to Israel in December, and IY"H, will graduate this in May. Since I am an American student, I face tremendous difficulty obtaining a residency at an Israeli hospital, and I am looking at Ph.D. options instead.
