I am a fourth year medical student in Tel Aviv, and I am a huge fan of your work at the Schlesinger Center. I would like to participate in some of the work you are doing, perhaps toward a Ph.D. in Medical Ethics. Might you be able to help direct me in this pursuit?
I am now in Toronto, doing a clinical elective in Internal Medicine, and I plan on returning to Israel in December, and IY"H, will graduate this in May. Since I am an American student, I face tremendous difficulty obtaining a residency at an Israeli hospital, and I am looking at Ph.D. options instead.

In Israel, only universities or the Weitzman Institute is allowed to grant a Ph.D.
As the Schlesinger Institute is not included, the best idea is to do the work at one of the universities in the country and the Schlesinger Institute staff can cooperate by advice or instruction.
