In general, masturbation is not permitted.

Dear Rabbi

I am working now in UROLOGY.

Prostatitis is in infection of the prostate which is difficult to treat. We give antibiotics for 6 weeks.

My consultant here believes that regular seminal emmissions by sex or masturbation help the disease in that it rids the body of infective semen and it prevents engorgement of the praostate which is painful in someone with prostatitis. We usuallly encourage the patients to either have sex or masturbate at least twice a week. Do you think this is mota with
