Why does the Tora say a woman is impure 40 days after having a boy and 80 days after having a girl (Yesterday's perashah)
My partner and I want to have a baby – for this we need sperm injection.
I was wondering if there is any halachik constraints on this?
Does it matter if we get the sperm from Israel or from abroad?
Does it matter if its by a Jew or not?

what type of sperm injection is indicated? – AIH (Artificial Inseminasion – Husband's sperm), or AID (Artificial Insemination – Donor sperm)?
