Rav Shlomo Zalman Eurbach's position regarding IVF.

Shalom,
My wife's gynecologist has advised her to take Gonal / f, a drug that uses recombinant DNA technology to facilitate ovulation as prior drugs such as Clomit have not been successful.
Test tube fertilization and artificial insemination are not contemplated at the moment , rather normal intercourse is contemplated, however I was wondering if this drug, Gonal/f that uses recombinant DNA technology is permitted under jewish law or whether its causes halachic issues.
I would appreciate a prompt answer to our question, particularly if there is a clearcut answer to whether this drug is permissible under jewish law, as my wife has been asked to start treatment and we have only recently become aware that Gonal / f uses recombinant DNA technology.
Many Thanks for your assistance.
The use of Gonal-F for infertility treatment is permissible according to Halacha – Jewish Law.
