Regarding work on shabbat, what is permitted to write using the 'Shabbat Pen' of Rav Halperin? May I write freely using this pen or is

I am an American physician (renal and pediatric pathology) interested in learning milah in Israel and was wondering what mechanisms might be available to come learn in Israel. I understand that currently in the US opportunities to apprentice are very limited.
