Please would you advise:
Our son who is a Cohen who is shomer mitzvoth would like to study medicine either in the UK or in Israel, he would like to understand the issues of a Cohen doing so. Please would you give some guidance.
1. Please see my answer on the topic – Studying Medicine for a cohen, published in JME 3,1 pp.52 (1997)
2. It would be preferable for a Cohen to study medicine abroad rather than in Israel.

יש לי שאלה שאני מתבייש לשאול לרב אבל לכאורה זה פשוט לחומרא או לקולא, כפי מה שהבנתי בהלכה מותר לאדם לעשות עם אשתו מה שלבו
