אני מקווה שאני שולחת למקום הנכון… דחוף לי… עשיתי בדיקת הפסק טהר וגם בדיקה ביום הראשון, אבל את כל שאר הבדיקות שכחתי!!! ביום האחרון עשיתי

In light of opinions who draw a distinction between a 'choleh' and a 'bari' regarding the permissibility of taking non-chewable pills containing hametz or safeq hametz on pesah, what category would a pregnant woman who takes prenatal vitamins fall under? Specifically, the vitamins contain 'modified food starch', the source of which I cannot ascertain, and I would like to know if my wife can continue taking them over pesah.

In most cases, refraining from taking prenatal vitamins for 7 days doesn't cause any harm.
So please consult your physician about the above possibility.
In rare cases, where the medical situation is such that taking these non-chewable pills is mandatory- they are allowed.

ברצוני לדעת האם מותר להשתמש במולטי ויטמין לילדים של חברת סולגר למרות שלא כתוב על הקופסה הכשר. וכן לגבי ויטמין C לילדים של סולגר, שהוא
אשתי ילדה ב"ה בי' בתמוז (לידה 5 הריון 7) השתחררה עם הומגולובין 8 , הנקה מלאה לללא תוספים. יש שיפור אבל היא עדיין מאוד חלשה
