If an egg from an woman donor, whose identity and religion is unknown, is implanted in the womb of a Jewish woman, what is the status of the child born to the Jewish woman? Is the child Jewish? Brit milah? Conversion at time of brit milah or at a later age?
The status of such a child is doubtful (“Safek”).
Therefore he should be converted by the procedure “giur le’chomra”, before the brit mila.
If the brit mila was done beforehand, then he should go through that procedure afterwards
