Using a Glucometer on Shabbat
My dietician recently prescribed the use of a glucometer (Accu Chek Performa) as I am borderline diabetic and am taking Prednisone. Please tell me if
I was curious to find sources discussing the issues surrounding hormone shots, IUI and egg retrieval on Shabbat. Is there anything permitted or only some things? I will assume that the woman does not actively do any hillul Shabbat herself and that the doctor is not Jewish.
