שאלה:

kohen and on being a member on hatzolah , and going into hospitals

תשובה:

If you are living outside Israel you may enter hospitals to visit the sick etc and can also join hatzolah. However you are not permitted to touch a corpse or part of one or even to come within 2 and a half metres of a body even if the corpse is non-Jewish.

You may not enter a building if you know that it contains a Jewish corpse and should try to avoid entering one with a non-Jewish corpse
