Is PGD halachically permissable to determine the sex of a child?
I mean to ask if PGD is allowed so that we can chose the sex of our baby (we already have boys and a girl
The IVF procedure which is crucial for PGD, is not allowed halachically if it is done only for sex selection.
Never-the-less, if IVF is indicated by a real medical indication, then it is allowed to continue the procedure with PGD for sex selection.
