reconstructive breast surgery following a mastectomy

I am writing an article about reconstructive breast surgery following a mastectomy. I must also address the question of permissibility/prohibition of prophylactic mastectomy with a positive BRCA 1 or 2 gene. I am under the impression that Prof. A. Avraham wrote about this but I am unable to find this source.

I would greatly appreciate any information regarding halakhic discussions about this type of surgery in order to prevent cancer.
