Please would you advise:
Our son who is a Cohen who is shomer mitzvoth would like to study medicine either in the UK or in Israel, he would like to understand the issues of a Cohen doing so. Please would you give some guidance.

2. It would be preferable for a Cohen to study medicine abroad rather than in Israel.
