הבת שלי בת שמונה חודשים אוכלת רק סימילאק. אשתי ואני לא הצלחנו למצוא שיש לזה הכשר לפסח האם תוכל לעזור לי הן בבדיקת השאלה האם
Dear Rabbi Dr. Halperin,
I am a medical student attending the Technion American Medical Program in Haifa. We will begin dissecting cadavers in about two weeks, and I heard that there may be some halachic problems dissecting bodies in Israel (because the majority of donated bodies are Jewish?)… What is the proper course of action? I hope I am able to participate in the dissections myself; I do not know from where the Technion obtains their cadavers.
[The course instructor wears a kipa and tzitzit, so I imagine he feels there is nothing to worry about. I have not yet approached him because I did not want to accidentally offend him or make a commotion over a non-issue until I knew the halachah.]
